I am a photojournalist based in Washington, D.C., covering major political and local news stories, including the White House, Congress, State Department, Pentagon, and events across the DMV area. My assignments have taken me to high-profile international forums such as the United Nations, NATO, G20, IMF, Russian Energy Week, and the World Bank.
I have also covered a diverse range of sporting events, from NBA games to Formula 1, as well as wrestling, basketball, football, handball, volleyball, and more. Prior to working in the US., I was based in Turkiye, where I traveled extensively, reporting on national and international events in every province.
I hold a degree in Journalism from Istanbul University and received professional photography training from the New York Film Academy. I’ve been flying drones since 2018 and have worked in various disaster zones, capturing critical moments on the ground.
Currently, I am a photojournalist for Anadolu Agency.
